For the Record is part of a series of informational articles aimed at helping clarify some of the hot-topic issues currently facing the city of Decorah. 
Sidewalks have been a hot-button topic as of late, with the implementation of plans for new and repaired sidewalks, as well as changes to the city’s sidewalk code being discussed at length with city staff and council.
