Thursday, October 27, 2022 4:56 pm

Finally home, Maggie wrestled the front door open impatiently, called for her brother Greg, but there was no answer. She descended the step into the hall, and planting her foot on the carpet, she felt it squish beneath her.

As It Inches Closer

Tuesday, October 25, 2022 4:23 pm

As you read this letter, it inches closer. Some say it appears as a familiar face; others say it melts into the shadows the instant you try to catch a glimpse. One thing remains constant; it inches closer.

Edgar had retired eight months earlier and nowadays things like what he had done or what needed to be done didn’t matter as much.
