100+ Women Who Care to meet Sept. 6 in Decorah

The September meeting of 100+ Women Who Care – Oneota Valley is planned for Wednesday, Sept. 6, at Rubaiyat in Decorah. Registration starts at 5:30 p.m., and the meeting will be from 6 to 7 p.m.

100+ Women Who Care is a unique women’s organization with the sole purpose of streamlining fundraising for area non-profits. Since April 2017, our giving circle has donated more than $130,000 to 20 unique local charities here in the Oneota Valley in just 21 hours of volunteer service.

Meeting organizers report the Schulze Family Foundation has committed to continue to provide matching grants of 50% of total dollars raised per meeting (up to a $5,000 match pending approval of the charitable organization by their Foundation) for Women Who Care Chapters in the US for 2023.

This event is open to all local community members who are looking to learn about local charitable causes and make an impact. All donations stay local and are made directly to the non-profit so 100% of your dollars are put to work in the community. I am interested in participating in 100 Women Who Care. I am unable to participate in person and wonder if I can send a check to someone when the charity is chosen each quarter.
