$100,000 scratch ticket sold in Decorah

A Decorah woman is the second person to win a $100,000 top prize in the Iowa Lottery’s “Snowfall” scratch game.

Tracie Tran of Decorah claimed her top prize Monday, Nov 18, at the lottery’s regional office in Cedar Rapids. She purchased her winning ticket at Walmart, 1798 Old Stage Road in Decorah.

Snowfall is a $10 scratch game with four remaining top prizes of $100,000. Overall odds of winning on a ticket in the game are 1 in 2.86.

Tran is the latest player to win big with one of the Iowa Lottery’s nine holiday-themed scratch and InstaPlay games.
