200 shows celebrated at New Minowa Players ‘Ye Olde Cabaret’ Nov. 2-5

New Minowa Players has been producing theatrical productions since the founding in 1975.

Directors says that 48 years later, they are still celebrating a very exciting milestone – our 200th show – with a cabaret review, “Ye Olde Cabaret: New Minowa Players Throughout the Years”.

Directed by Molly Holkesvik and Alison Blake, “Ye Olde Cabaret” reflects on the hilarious antics, heartwarming stories, and inspiring productions of NMP’s history.

The performance will feature musical performances from past productions, like “Lily’s Eyes” from The Secret Garden, and “One Day More” from Les Miserables. You’ll hear stories about how NMP has impacted our participants, and get a glimpse into its history from one of our founding mothers, Donalee Burns.

New Minowa Players has produced its last 199 shows at venues all over the community. We’ll celebrate #200 at home, in the NMP Theatre, 906 South Mill Street, and would love to have you join us.

“Ye Olde Cabaret” performers include Alison Blake, Donalee Burns, Mike Ellingsen, Karen Esterl, Melanie Folkerts, Clara Garcia-Prats, Jenna Hartz, Molly Holkesvik, Hallie Johnson, Kaya Johnson, Kelly Johnson, Alex Kane, Nessa Kane, Aaron Kvale, Alexander Rosenow, Cassius Sadler, Rick Scheffert, Sheryl Scheffert, Jonathan Struve , and Gabriel Twedt.
