Decorah High School’s fall production is “The SpongeBob Musical,” which will be performed Nov. 9-11 in the DHS auditorium.
Adapted from the iconic Nickelodeon series, SpongeBob, Sandy, Patrick, Squidward, and all of Bikini Bottom face total annihilation of their undersea world. Chaos erupts … lives hang in the balance … and just when hope seems lost, an unexpected hero rises up and saves them all. The power of optimism and the strength of community really can save the world.
Directors said the exciting show features characters in all voice ranges, many onstage opportunities for specialty characters, dance,
gymnastics/tumbling, tech, and sound; and offers many other ways to participate in the pit orchestra and on the technical crew.
Audition workshops for actors/singers/dancers are under way, with auditions scheduled later this month.
The Director Team includes Chris Hadley, Jason Rausch, Karen (KT) Trewin and Kristen Underwood. Stage manager is Karmyn Bakken.
