Frankville Road closure announced

The Winneshiek County Engineer’s Office has announced that starting Monday, June 24 at 7 a.m., Frankville Road, located on County Rd. W4B, will be closed to through traffic from Iowa Highway No. 9 to the Winneshiek and Allamakee County line, east of the town of Frankville.

Traffic will be unable to use the entire width of the roadway due to roadway excavation. As part of the project, crews will be removing and reconstructing the crossroad culverts.

The road is expected to be closed for the duration of the summer, with a tentative re-opening slated for Sept. 6.
