Kids Lunch Club returns

Kids Lunch Club, a program providing free, fresh and nutritious grab-and-go lunches to area kids during the summer months, is returning this year..

Kids Lunch Club is returning this summer.

Throughout the school year students have access to lunch at school, but during summer break many kids and families struggle with food insecurity. Kids Lunch Club serves lunches to ensure children and youth in our community have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, over 4,000 lunches were served thanks to the support of the local community.

Kids Lunch Club organizers are eaching out to local churches, businesses, and community members to ask for continued support to bring back Kids Lunch Club and make it the best summer yet. Kids Lunch Club is in need of volunteers to help pack lunches and distribute them to children and youth at two distribution sites in Decorah throughout the summer.
