Matilda tells the story of a misunderstood young girl who finds refuge in her library books and her imagination. She comes up against a cruel principal and finds a friend in her teacher, Miss Honey. The musical, full of catchy songs and high-energy dance numbers, is to be presented on the Scheffert Stage at the New Minowa Players Building at 906 South Mill Street in Decorah, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Jan. 20-22, at 7 p.m.; Sunday, Jan. 23, at 2 p.m.; Friday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m.; and Saturday, Jan. 29, at 2 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the website: httsp://www.newminowaplayers.org/buy-tickets.
