Nicknames now an issue at Iowa schools

Decorah Community School District (DCSD) staff and administrators continue to work to navigate new education laws in the state.

In an effort to comply with Senate File 496, DCSD administration will send another registration form out to parents this week, requesting students’ names and acceptable nicknames.
