Northeast Iowa Peace and Justice Center Upcoming events:
Northeast Iowa Peace and Justice Center Board Meeting, Tuesday, July 27,  from 5:00 PM to 6:30PM at the Phelps Park Bandshell, Decorah.
Rural Equity Network:Continuing Our Journey Toward Thriving Communities to be held Wednesday, July 28, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM via Zoom.
What is the Rural Equity Network? 
– A regional action network that will explore topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion to build informed and equitable rural communities 
– A platform for rural communities to connect and share successes and challenges with each other
– A support for those committed to advancing equity and continuing their learning
– A meeting place where you will get to know neighbors who came to our region from other places and cultures
How will it work? 
The network will meet quarterly via Zoom, led by Clara Lopez Ortiz, Jason Neises of the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque and a steering committee comprised of community members from our seven-county region.  RSVP to Clara, clara@dbqfoundation.org by July 26th to join the network.
