Decorah Police made contact with a vehicle in the area of Palisades Park (Ice Cave Road) April 11 at approximately 9:53 p.m. Officers spoke with two individuals identified as Tyler Boyle, 35, of Postville, and Holly Terrell, 39, of Ridgeway. It was discovered that both individuals had active warrants. Tyler Boyle and Holly Terrell were both placed under arrest for their outstanding warrants and transported to the Winneshiek County Jail without incident. 

Decorah Police were called to Decorah High School Saturday, April 15, at approximately 9:23 p.m., for possible intoxicated subjects at the Decorah Prom. Officers spoke with two students. After investigation, it was determined both individuals were intoxicated and/or under the influence of drugs. One of the students was a juvenile, and the other was identified as Ethan Folkedahl, 18, of Decorah. The juvenile was given a diversionary program packet. Folkedahl was issued a court summons for public intoxication.

Decorah Police were dispatched to the Fisk Farm and Fleet parking lot in Decorah, April 13 at 1:15 p.m., for a report of male subject who was defecating in the parking lot. Upon arrival, officers observed feces and paper towels in the parking lot and stuck to a vehicle in the parking lot. The suspect was gone upon officers’ arrival, but an officer located the suspect vehicle parked in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Decorah a short time later. Police contacted 70-year-old Robert Gulbranson of Harmony, Minn., who witnesses had identified as the suspect from Fisk Farm and Fleet. Gulbranson was cited for public defecation and 5th degree criminal mischief.
