Decorah Police
Decorah Police conducted a traffic stop May 13 at approximately 2:04 a.m. on a vehicle in the 1800 block of Trout Run Road, Decorah. After further investigation, the driver, Kelly Richard Ludeking, 51, of Decorah, was arrested for operating while under the influence, 1st offense. Ludeking was transported to the Winneshiek County Jail without incident.
Decorah Police conducted a traffic stop May 14 at approximately 1:46 a.m. on a vehicle near the intersection of Highway 9 and Short Street, Decorah. After further investigation, the driver, Jeffrey David Blaser, 22, of Cresco, was arrested for operating while under the influence, 1st offense. He was transported to the Winneshiek County Jail without incident.
Decorah Police initiated a traffic stop May 21 at 12:30 a.m. on Montgomery Street in Decorah. After an investigation, 27-year-old Jordan Schaller of Waterville was arrested for operating while under the influence, first offense.
Winneshiek Sheriff
Amanda Mueller, 42, of Decorah, was arrested on Highway 9 on May 19 at 3:53 p.m. and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail for operating while under the influence and unlawful possession of prescription drug.
Anthony Hoffman, 49, of Charles City, was arrested May 21 at the Floyd County Jail, and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail on an arrest warrant for failure to serve jail time.
Joseph Campbell, 50, of La Crosse, Wis., was arrested on Highway 52 May 26 at 7:18 p.m., and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail for serous misdemeanor possession of controlled substance, simple misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and simple misdemeanor interference with office acts.
Jacob Seelinger, 44, of Decorah, was arrested at 252nd St., Decorah, on May 27 at 12:10 a.m., and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail on an arrest warrant for possession of controlled substance, second offense, and failure to affix drug stamp.
Mohamed Samatar, 45, of Postville, was cited for failure to have control following an accident May 25 on County Road A18 and 360th Street and US Highway 52 North. Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office reported Samatar was northbound on Highway 52, and he was attempting to pass another northbound vehicle driven by Sandra Navarrete Osegueda, age 29, of Decorah. His vehicle collided with the other a vehicle at the four-way intersection. Damages totaled $5,000 to each of the vehicles. No injuries were reported.
