While incarcerated in the Winneshiek County Jail on March 28, Christopher Jensen, 38, of Decorah, was served two arrest warrants for violation of probation. 

Luan Ruesink, 49, of Spring Valley, Minn., was cited for failure to maintain control following an accident March 20 on Quarry Hill Road near Decorah. Her vehicle was reported by a passerby. The vehicle was found abandoned and towed away. The vehicle was reportedly northbound when the driver lost control and rolled into the west ditch. Tyler Ruesink called law enforcement later in the morning asking for assistance for traffic control to tow the vehicle away. Tyler stated that his mother, Luan Ruesink, was driving. She was later contacted and the citation was issued. Approximately $8,500 in damages were reported to the 2013 Chevy Equinox SUV. 

Ann Waters, 47, of La Crosse, Wis., was arrested in Allamakee County April 1, and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail on an arrest warrant for failure to appear.

Thomas Crouch III, 27, of Cresco, was arrested in Howard County April 4, and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail on an arrest warrant for theft, 4th, general over $300 and under $750.

Trevor Mitchell, 36, of Decorah, was arrested in Allamakee County April 3, and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail on an arrest warrant for failure to provide fingerprints as ordered.

William Powell Jr., 28, of Decorah, turned himself into the Winneshiek County Jail at 5:38 a.m. April 5, and was booked on an arrest warrant for possession firearm or offensive weapon by DA offender.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office has received blood results from the DCI Lab pertaining to an accident Feb. 18 on Middle Calmar Road. Xander Krambeer, 19, of Decorah, has been charged with failure to maintain control and possession of alcohol under the legal age. Krambeer, has lost his driver’s license for zero tolerance.

Lynn Streif, 67, of West Union, turned herself in and was booked into the Winneshiek County Jail April 7 at 6:45 p.m. on an arrest warrant for failure to report to jail.

Law enforcement officers were dispatched to a report of a single vehicle rollover on River Road on April 1. The investigating officer found a vehicle in the southwest ditch with all tires in the air. James Homstad, 74, of Decorah, was helped from the vehicle by First Responders and was transported to Winneshiek Medical center. He did not complain of any specific injuries. It appeared the driver lost control and ran off the road to the right, where the vehicle flipped. The vehicle was totaled.

Angela Redman-Krambeer, 48, of Decorah, was arrested on Valdres Road in Decorah on April 10 and booked into the Winneshiek County Jail on an arrest warrant for tamper with witness/juror – bribe/threaten/detain.

Jeramiah Rediske, 17, of Decorah, was cited for failure to yield upon left turn following an accident April 15 at approximately 4 p.m. on Highway 9 East. According to the report from investigating officer, Rediske did not see a vehicle driven by 35-year-old Juan Gomez Tala of Postville when making a left-hand turn, and failed to yield. Gomez Tala was cited for failure to provide proof of financial liability. Damages totaled $8,000 to the truck Rediske was driving and $10,000 to the vehicle driven by Gomez Tala. No injuries were reported.
