The Magic of Christmas in Ossian

The Magic of Christmas in Ossian showcased the bright and beautiful of the holiday season during their event held Dec. 2-4, at the Silver Springs Country Club in Ossian. 
From evening hors d’oeuvres to rolls and coffee Sunday morning, the stars of the event were the many decorated trees and tables, setting a festive atmosphere for holiday attendees. The event was a fundraiser with all proceeds going to the St. Teresa of Calcutta School in Ossian. Proceeds of the event were over $4,250. Plans are underway for the 2023 Magic of Christmas Celebration.
There were over 30 decorated trees and several holiday collections displayed from area businesses and churches, many quilted holiday table runners and six decorated tables at the event. 
Winners of the 2022 Magic of Christmas Raffle were Joan Ameling, Elizabeth Uhlenhake, Kailey Steinlage, Tony Brincks, Patty Lien, Mary Quandahl, Sally Tieskoetter, Mae Becker and Shannon Covell. Winner of the Magic of Christmas Quilt Raffle, made and donated by Margaret Elsbernd, was Jodi Egeland.
Nearly 100 people attended the Rolls and Coffee Among the Trees Sunday, Dec. 4, enjoying rolls furnished by Carol Wiltgen.
