Arnold LeRoy Lundtvedt, 74, of Caledonia, Minn., died Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, surrounded by his family, at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. Funeral services are at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 31, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Caledonia, Minn.; Rev. Steven E. Meyer will officiate. Burial is in Evergreen Cemetery with military honors by the Loveless-Eikens American Legion Post 191 of Caledonia and the United States Navy Funeral Honor Guard. Arnold was born Oct. 20, 1941, in Glenwood Township, to Gunder and Olga (Skeim) Lundtvedt. He attended country school then graduated from Decorah High School in 1959. Arnold joined the United States Navy in the fall of 1959, serving three years. He then joined the Army Reserves where he served for 18 years. Arnold was employed with the City of Caledonia for 32 years. Arnold married Margaret Setter Sept. 7, 1962, in Decorah. They have five children: Mark (Gayle) Lundtvedt, Dale (Connie) Lundtvedt, Karen (Scott) Ollendieck, Gary (Natasha) Lundtvedt and Kathy (Chris) Doyle; 10 grandchildren: Julia, Anna, Alicia, Carina, Ava, Kyle, Sara, Julia, Ryan and Travis; and one great-grandchild, Ira.

Arnold also is survived by two sisters, Marlys Schulte of Decorah and Arla Mae (Lester) Hjelmeland of Winona, Minn; one brother, Ernest Lundtvedt of Decorah; and many nieces and nephews.

Arnold was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Gilman, Oscar and Kenneth; one sister, Agnes Koester; and one grandson, Korbin Lundtvedt.
