Bernard Neuzil, age 99, of Fort Atkinson, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020 at the Ossian Senior Hospice.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at St. John’s Catholic Church, 201 Oak Street, Fort Atkinson, with Rev. Nick Radloff presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the church. The Schluter-Balik Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Bernard is survived by his children: Donald (Ann) Neuzil, Waukon, IA; Linda Neuzil, Decorah, IA; Marilyn (Danny) Holthaus, Calmar, IA; and Sandra (Jerald) Andera, Spillville, IA. Six grandchildren: Brian (Alathia) Andera, Megan and Amy Andera; Andrew, Alex (friend, Sapphire Stano) and Matthew Holthaus. Great grandchildren: Trace and Rainer Andera. Brothers: Danny (Ethie) Neuzil, Decorah, IA, and Norbert (Ione) Neuzil, Decorah, IA. Sister: Julia Brandt, Cedar Rapids, IA, and many nieces and nephews.
