They shared a love of traveling and took many vacations together, including Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Ireland, Scotland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany and Italy. In addition to traveling, Bev enjoyed baking (especially known for baking fudge and peanut butter bon bons), collecting bears and volunteering. She volunteered at First United Methodist Church, Wellington Place, VFW, American Legion, Winneshiek Medical Center and Vesterheim. She also was a member of the Red Hat Society. Bev loved spending time with her family. She especially looked forward to the annual Bader Father’s Day reunion. Bev always went the extra mile to make her grandchildren and great-grandchildren feel loved and she left them with many special memories.
