Charles Marcus Teeter was born Dec. 3, 1947, in Blue Earth, Minn., to Marcus and Marguerite (Fiddler) Teeter. He grew up in McGregor and Monona, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and building model airplanes. Chuck lived life to the fullest.
His fondest memories were spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed pontooning and fishing on the Chippewa Flowage near their home in Hayward, Wis. His love of model airplanes continued into adulthood and he flew his planes in several competitions. He loved exploring the country with his wife. Their travels took them to New York, where they enjoyed a Yankee game at the old stadium, and included visits to Niagara Falls, Yellowstone National Park and the wilds of Canada during their many fishing trips. After vacationing in Florida, they decided to continue their adventure and moved there for three years. Chuck was a wonderful husband, father, and friend. He will be missed by all, never forgotten, and will forever be in the hearts of anyone who knew him.
Surviving him, who will forever cherish his memory, are his wife Gloria of 27 years of Decorah; four daughters: Jennie (Joe) Stammeyer of Onalaska, Wis., Tami Teeter of Stockton, Minn., stepdaughters Susan (Don) Baker of Mazeppa, Minn. and Tracy (Randy) Jensen of Hayward, Wis.; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter on the way; an uncle; cousins; and beloved fur-baby Toby.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a half-sister Ruth and an infant sister, Vicki Gay. Online condolences may be left at martinfunerals.com.
