DAVE BAPPE, 83, of Decorah, died Thursday, May 21, 2015, at the Barthell Eastern Star Nursing Home in Decorah. Funeral services are at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, at the First United Methodist Church at 302 West Broadway in Decorah with Rev. John Caldwell presiding. Burial is in the Phelps Cemetery in Decorah. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, at Schluter Balik Funeral Home in Decorah and after noon at the church Wednesday. David is survived by his wife, Norma of Decorah; two sons, James (Cindy) Bappe, Decorah and Robert (Gena) Bappe, Hartford, S.D.
