DENNIS “JIGGS” SERSLAND, 66, of Decorah, died Sunday, June 23, 2019, at his home. Funeral services are at 11 a.m., Friday June 28, at the First Lutheran Church, 604 West Broadway, Decorah, with Rev. Melissa Bills presiding. Burial is in the St. Benedict Cemetery, Decorah. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at the First Lutheran Church, 604 West Broadway, Decorah, and also after 10 a.m., at the church Friday morning. Dennis is survived by his wife, Janean; sons, Darrin Sersland, Minneapolis, Minn. and Brett (Katrina Collins) Waukon; his dog, Edger; brother, Darrell (Becky) Sersland, Decorah; brothers-in-law, Bob (Dalane) Carolan, Decorah and Jason (Caroline) Carolan, Denver, Colo.; mother-in-law, Doris Carolan, Decorah; aunt, Pat Pavlovec, Decorah.
