DUANE EINCK, 74, of Ossian, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, at his home in Ossian. Memorial services are at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Wildwood Events Center, 110 West Main Street, Ossian, with Rev. Wayne Ellingson presiding. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at Wildwood Events Center and also after 9 a.m. Saturday morning. The Schluter – Balik Funeral Home in Decorah is handling the arrangements. Duane is survived by his special friend, Nora Hemesath, Ossian; two children, Adam Einck, Baton Rouge, La. and Bree (Josh) Peterson, Dodge Center, Minn.; four step-children: Carmen Kriener, Spillville; Rachel Sorenson, Castalia; Travis Hemesath, Ossian; and Malinda Hemesath, Ossian.
