HARLAN HENRY, 86, of Decorah, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at the Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah. Mass of Christian Burial is at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 22, at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in Bluffton, with Rev. Dennis Cain presiding. Burial is in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at the Schluter – Balik Funeral Home and also after 10 a.m., at the church Tuesday. There is a rosary at 4 p.m. Monday. Harlan is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Loretta Henry, Decorah; four children: Laureen (Timothy) McGuire, Lenexa, Kans.; Terry Henry, Decorah; Randal (Aurelyn) Henry, Steubenville, Ohio; and Lynn (Mark) Krivachek, Decorah; eight grandchildren: Richard (Sara) Halse, Melissa (Kye) Palmer, Shanon (Patrick) Johnson, Bradley (Hannah) Henry, Brian Henry, Jason (Allison) Krivachek, Gina (Rusty) Whalen and Joseph Henry; seven great-grandchildren: Emily and Alex Halse, Clayton Palmer, Aiden Whalen, Blake and Grant Krivachek and Dexter Johnson; three sisters: Mary Frank, Fullerton, Calif.; Martha (Richard) Wendl, Newton; and Joneil Henry (Carey Rohlfs) Bellevue, Neb.; one sister-in-law, Sharon Tweten-Henry, Bluffton; brother-in-law, Vern Drilling along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.
