Harriet Boeding Haeg, 80, of Bloomington, Minn., died peacefully Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, after a long battle with Parkinson’s. A Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, Nov. 19, 2018, at the Church of the Assumption, Bloomington.
Born May 1, 1938, to Clem and Teresa Boeding, she was the eldest of seven children and was raised on a farm south of Lawler.
She graduated from Lawler High School in 1956 and College of St. Theresa, Winona, Minn., in 1960.
She married Chub Haeg June 23, 1962, and raised their four children in Bloomington.
She is survived by her husband, Chub; children: Joe (Barb), Mark, Tom (Lyn) and Sarah (Ron) Roers; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Phyllis) Boeding Lawler, Jim Boeding Decorah, Dennis Boeding Lawler, Tom (Ruth) Boeding Nevada, sister, Susan (Wayne) Smith Fort Atkinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenny.
Harriet was blessed with the best of friends who were faithful to the end.
