MARILYN LOUISE (ASCHIM) MEYTHALER, 81, of Ridgeway, formerly of Cedar Rapids, went to her rest Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Gundersen Palmer Lutheran Hospital in West Union. Funeral services are at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at Peace Lutheran Church in Ridgeway, with Pastor Garry Birth officiating. Interment is in United Lutheran Cemetery in rural Ridgeway. Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 6, at Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah, and Saturday beginning at 2 p.m., one hour before the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bronchiectasis and NTM Research Registry through the COPD Foundation. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Roger, of Ridgeway; four sons: Dave (Lois) Meythaler of Everett, Wash.; Gary (Jennifer) Meythaler of Colbert, Wash.; Mark (Amy) Meythaler of Burnsville, Minn.; Glenn (Jolene) Meythaler of Grimes; nine grandchildren: Micah, Emily, Isaac, Jesse, Hannah, Gavin, Brendan, Gretchen and Kerstin; and one sister, Cindy (John) Hoines, Madison Lake, Minn.
