MARTIN “PEPPER” GOSSLING, 85, of Fort Atkinson, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, at the Good Samaritan Society Home in West Union. Mass of Christian Burial is at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the St. John’s Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson, with Rev. Aaron Junge presiding. Burial is in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Little Turkey. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 14, at the Schluter Balik Funeral Home Chekal Chapel in Fort Atkinson, and also after 10 a.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Martin is survived by his wife, Margaret Gossling, Fort Atkinson; children: Steve Gossling, Waucoma, Janet (Steve) Houdek, Calmar, Ken (Connie) Gossling, Waucoma, Joe Gossling, Lawler, Kevin (Lori) Gossling, Calmar, Sue (Duane) Cushion, Maynard and Scott (Stacey) Gosslin, Decorah; brother, Norbert (Darlene) Gossling, Waucoma; sister, Sister Maryam Gossling FSPA, La Crosse, Wis.; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bev Gossling; Clem Langreck of Lawler; Charles (Mildred) Langreck of West Union; and Jerome Langreck of Lemon Grove, Calif.; Agatha Busta of Lawler; Edna Jirak of Lawler; Virginia Kuhn of Fort Atkinson; and Lillian Chipera of New Hampton.
