MONSIGNOR DONALD HEINEMAN, 93, of Fort Atkinson, died Thursday, July 21, 2016, at the Colonial Manor in Elma. Mass of Christian Burial is at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, at St. John’s Catholic Church, 201 Oak Street, Fort Atkinson, with Archbishop Michael Jackels presiding. Visitation was from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 25, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson, and also after 10 a.m. Tuesday morning at the church. There was a rosary at 4 p.m., and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at St. John’s Catholic Church. Monsignor is survived by his two sisters, Victoria “Tory” (Phil) McCarville, Elma and Joan (Merle) Henry, Yuba, Calif.; along with many nieces and nephews. Monsignor was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Victoria (Mishak) Heineman; four brothers: Rev. Joseph Heineman, Rayfield (Shirley) Heineman, Alfred Heineman and John Heineman in WWII; and one sister, Marie Balduf.
