NORMAN DICKMAN, 86, of Decorah, died Monday, May 20, 2019, due to results of an automobile accident east of Decorah. Funeral services are at 12 p.m. Monday, May 27, at the Salem United Church of Christ, 1097 Pole Line Road, Waukon, with Rev. Sue Klimstra presiding. Burial ise in the Salem cemetery with military honors. Visitation is from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 26, at the Schluter-Balik Funeral Home in Decorah and also after 11 a.m. at the church Monday morning. The Schluter-Balik Funeral Home in Decorah is handling arrangements. Norman is survived by his wife, Darlene; daughters, Dawn (Walt) Konetzka, Prospect, Ky. and Denise (Monty Wilder) Buddenberg, Decorah; grandchildren: Josh (Amy) Buddenberg, Decorah, Zac Buddenberg, San Diego, Calif. and Julie Buddenberg, Decorah; great-grandchildren, Emmett and Brett Buddenberg; brother, Douglas (Ellen) Dickman, Decorah. Norman was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Dickman; parents, Edward and Lucy (Dull) Dickman; brother, Edward Dickman; sister, Lillian Dickman; father and mother-in-law, George and Alta (Winkie) Stuckman. The family would like to thank the Frankville Fire and EMS, Winneshiek Ambulance Crew, Decorah Fire Dept, Gundersen Med Link Air for their services along with the Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Dept., Iowa State Patrol and all the bystanders that helped in any way.
