Ronnie Crawford, age 52, of Hesper, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in Hesper.

Ronnie was born Dec. 10, 1968 in Decorah, to Ross and Rita (Foltz) Crawford. He attended Mabel-Canton Schools in the class of 1988. He worked for Carlson Construction in Decorah and then at Featherlite Trailers in Cresco until an injury prevented him from working. Ronnie enjoyed being outside metal detecting, hunting, fishing, and hunting for deer sheds, and woodworking.

Ronnie is survived by his father Ross of Hesper; two brothers Rick (Kim) Crawford of Dorchester, Iowa, and Rob (Amy Sanders) Crawford of Hesper; nieces and nephew Missy (Trevor) Crawford, Carrie (Stan) Colsch, and Rien and Reid Crawford; great nieces and nephews Kenny, Kaelyn, and Kyzer Colsch, Dakota  and Zoey Dewall, and Jentree Collins; and aunts and uncles. Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother, Rita, and his grandparents.

Visitation will be from 4 -7 pm, Monday, May 3 at the Mengis Funeral Home in Mabel, Minn. Graveside services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, May 8, 2021at the Hesper Public Cemetery.
