Russell David Ferrie, age 62, of Cresco, passed away from complications due to surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester on Oct. 17, 2023. He was surrounded by many wonderful and caring doctors and nurses during his final days.

After years of searching, he finally met the love of his life, Cindy Wenthold. They wed in 2013 at their Lourdes home, and later moved to a home outside of Cresco. They made many memories in their 10-year marriage.

Fond memories of Russell include his love of telling stories and jokes, sense of humor, and musical ability to sing Old McDonald Had A Farm. He also brought a lot of excitement to the game of Poker.
