STANLEY T. IVERSON, 92, of Decorah, died Saturday evening, Oct. 8, 2016, at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wis. A memorial Celebration of Life service is at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at Big Canoe Lutheran Church in rural Decorah, with the Rev. Kurt Bockoven officiating. Full military honors are by Decorah’s veterans and military organizations. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Thursday, one hour before the service, at Big Canoe Lutheran Church. Stanley is survived by his wife, Darlene; his son, Greg Iverson of Decorah; three daughters: Diane (Jeff) Turner of Decorah and Deb (Stan Fullerton) Snyder of Decorah and Kathy (Bruce) Demsky of Des Moines; grandchildren: Andy (Maggie) Iverson, Tore (Mike) Short, Nathan Iverson, Stephanie (Clay) Koenig, Matt (Lisa) Turner, Josh Snyder, Michael (Beth) Snyder, Lindsay Olson, Jake Demsky, Aaron (Suzanna) Demsky, Justin (Heather) Demsky, Royce Fullerton, Lauren (Dan) Karr and Alice (Juel Teslow) Fullerton; great-grandchildren: Anya Iverson, Klaara Short, Carli and Cael Koenig, Maddy, Kadin, Kash and Jack Turner, Kiah and Abel Snyder, Carter and Adelena Olson, Lorelei Karr, Dalton and Dillon Briggs and Lila Demsky.
