Tami was born April 8, 1995, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics to Scott and Noreen Hageman. From day one we knew she would be someone special.

Her gift to this world was her joy, light and up-lifting spirit, which was shared with everyone she met.

Tami was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Monona, where she was baptized and confirmed. Tami’s faith and her relationship with God was the foundation of her life. She attended MFL Mar Mac Community Schools, graduating in 2014. Tami had the honor of being crowned Prom Queen her senior year.

To Tami, everything was a favorite and every day was the best day ever. She so enjoyed playing her trombone, singing, dancing, camping and being with people.

She loved working at Kwik Star and loved her Kwik Star family. She would tell all that they had “the best frappes ever.” Another favorite for Tami was being in the Luana Ramblers 4-H club and going to the Clayton County Fair, a true highlight of the summer. But her real joy was her family. You knew if you got a hug from her you were special, too.

Tami is survived by her parents, Scott Hageman of Monona and Noreen Hageman of Luana; sister, Melissa Hageman of Coralville; paternal grandparents, Paul and Colleen Hageman of Decorah; and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Irvin and Emilie Moudry; a brother in infancy, Scott Hageman Jr.; an uncle, Kevin Hageman; and aunt, Mary Benda.
