Weston Dean Jones was born March 4, 2022, the son of Anna (Sweeney) and Kyler Jones of Waterloo, IA. Wessy Boy was the light of many people’s lives, making a big impact on everyone he met. With a smile or a high five, Weston was always ready to make a new friend. He was known for his cool style, a mischievous personality, and his love for his puppies. Weston enjoyed going to coffee shops with his mom because he always knew a bakery treat was in store for him. Weston was always on the go with his mom and dad; between family outings, summer golfing, and riding the lawn mower with his dad, he never had a dull moment. Weston was taken far too soon from this earth, but we all know he’s building the biggest block towers, playing “Ring Around the Rosie” at the golden gates, and making all new friends up in Heaven.
God bless our Wessy Boy.
Besides his parents, Weston is survived by his maternal grandparents Brian Sweeney of Waukon and Denise Sweeney of McGregor, IA; maternal great-grandmother Juanita Thorstenson of Waukon; paternal grandparents Donna and Kris Jones of Ankeny, IA; paternal great-grandmother Dorothy Martin of Kansas; maternal aunt Emily (Bruce) Dahlstrom of Waukon; maternal uncle Ben Sweeney of Waukon; and paternal aunt Madison Jones of Des Moines, IA.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Dean Thorstenson, Ralph and Ileen Sweeney, Donald Martin, and Keith and Kathryn Jones.
