Boys pull wind out from under Eagles

The Decorah boys’ soccer team put a mark back in the win column Monday after their win streak was broken over the weekend in Waverly. The Vikes (9-3) put the ball in goal twice in the first half and three times in the second to defeat Clayton Ridge (6-6) in Guttenberg, 5-1.

The Decorah boys’ soccer team put a mark back in the win column Monday after their win streak was broken over the weekend in Waverly. The Vikes (9-3) put the ball in goal twice in the first half and three times in the second to defeat Clayton Ridge (6-6) in Guttenberg, 5-1.
The Vikes will be at West Delaware Thursday, May 12, at 6 p.m., then Dubuque Hempstead Saturday, May 14, at 10 a.m. Their final home game of the regular season will by Monday, May 16, at 7 p.m., versus Waverly-Shell Rock.

Postseason starts next week
Decorah will host the first two rounds of the Class 2A Substate 4 games which begin versus West Delaware Thursday, May 19, at 6:30 p.m.
