Comets shut down Decorah spikers

By Becky Walz,

Wrapping up the regular season on the road, the Decorah volleyball team (18-7, 2-3 NEIC) squared off with Charles City (18-8, 3-2 NEIC) Tuesday, dropping the match 3-1. Set scores were 31-33, 25-22, 19-25 and 16-25.
“Honestly, we played very flat all night long, and our communication was not good. We have several things that we need to work on before we go to the NEIC tournament and start the postseason. I believe this team has the ability to bounce back if they work together,” said Coach Gina Holthaus.
