The Decorah bowling teams continues to improve, producing wins Friday at Waukon to improve to 2-0.
The Viking boys had a total of 2,572 to Waukon’s 2,278. Baker scores were 169, 169, 146, 186 and 166.
The Vikes were led by Brendan Hunter and Tom Esslemont. Hunter had scores of 191 and 195, while Esslemont had scores of 183 and 188. Other varsity results were Cade Averhoff (207, 158), Emmit Stemper (171, 154), Mason Hill (147, 144) and Karter Einck (143, 146).

The JV boys won by 1,100 pins and were led by Grady Brauer (403), Gavin Sims (379) and Brody Anfinson (375).
The girls also picked up their second win outscoring the Indians 2,105 to 1,853. Baker scores were 136, 126, 148, 138 and 155.
Leading the way for Decorah were Lily Iverson with scores of 163 and 147, along with Hannah Schnitzler with games of 171 and 108. Paige Lange provided scores of 133 and 143. Other varsity scores were Chloe Chyle (156, 116), Rebecca Bruening (109, 156) and Hailey Bower (101, 117).
The bowling teams are off until Friday, Dec. 10, when they host Oelwein at Skyline Lanes at 4 p.m.
