NEIC team results
1. Waverly-Shell Rock 314; 2. Charles City 337; 3. Decorah 346; 4. New Hampton 363; 5. Crestwood 367; 6. Waukon 426

“I felt the boys played more like what they were capable of at the Conference Tourney at Charles City Friday. With course conditions very poor, I was proud of how our boys responded and played with determination and concentration during the 18 holes of competition! Balanced scoring was the key. Third place was outstanding and having four boys receiving All Conference honors was even better,” said Coach Gaard.
Leading the way for the Vikes in seventh place with an 84 (43-41) was Holthaus. Rolfs was one stroke back in ninth place with an 85 (42-43). Firing an 87 (43-44) for 12th place was B. Bockman. Rounding out the team score in 14th place and a 90 (46-44) was Knoke. Brody Hanson (50-44) and Pipho (44-50) also toured the course and finished with 94s.
