Lady Vikes recognized by NEIC

Three Lady Vikes were named to the Northeast Iowa Conference all-league basketball team.
Bryar Duwe and Emma Nierengarten are second-time honorees, while Haley Gossman receives her first conference nods.
Duwe earned her second first-team nod. In her sophomore campaign, she led the team in scoring with 15.5 points per game, hitting 71.6% from the field and 27.5% from three-point range. She came away with a team-high 54 steals and dished out 46 assists. She pulled down 71 rebounds, averaging 3.4 boards per game.
An honorable mention selection as a sophomore, Nierengarten receives a second team nod as she concludes her senior season. Averaging 8.9 points a game, she tallied 187 total points. Leading the team under the basket, Nierengarten claimed 155 rebounds (83 defensive, 72 offensive). She also led the Vikes with 21 blocks, to go with 33 steals and 28 assists. 
An honorable mention choice, Haley Gossman posted 7.0 points per game, hitting 43.2% from the field and 60% from the free throw line. She was second on the team with 106 total rebounds including 69 defensive and 37 offensive boards to go with 36 steals, 28 assists and eight blocks.
