On the road
South Winn was first on board Monday before the New Hampton Chickasaws (7-8, 2-5 NEIC) got the offense rolling to an 18-6 lead in the opening period. The Warriors managed just two points in the second quarter allowing New Hampton to stretch the advantage to 35-8.
Morgan Kleve broke the scoring drought in the third with a long trey midway through the period. With mostly Chickasaw reserves on the floor for the second half of the third, South Winn was able to find the basket to score a total of seven points as New Hampton continued to lead 45-15. Connecting for a free throw early in the fourth was Hailey Riehle to make it 46-16. Alyssa Holthaus nailed the trey midway through the fourth as the continuous clock had begun midway making it, 58-19, but there was little the Warriors could do.
Individual stats were unavailable at press time.

South Winn 6 2 7 4 19
