Three members of the Decorah volleyball team were honored for their work on the hardwood this fall by being named to the all-conference list — all first-time honorees
Junior libero Ellie Rolfs was named to the first team, while Maddy Fromm and McKinley Massman were named to the second team.
Rolfs was busy as the Viking libero coming away with 297 digs during the 2023 season to go with a 90.8 percent serving mark, going 267-of-294 with 33 aces to earn the All-NEIC first team designation.
Fromm, a senior, played the entire court, splitting time as Decorah’s setter and as a right-side hitter. She led the team in assists with 299 and finished third in kills with 125. In addition, Fromm was there for 151 digs and served 219-for-260 with a team high 49 aces.
With 149, Massman was second on the team in the kill category. She had 10 total blocks, with six solo stops, along with 79 digs. From the service line she had 31 aces and went 236-for-264.
Decorah ended the season in the Class 4A semifinals, concluding the year with a 14-18 overall record.
