No. 4 Vikes take down Indee for first time

By Becky Walz,

The Vikings proved how much tenacity they have as the Decorah volleyball team (10-1, 1-0 NEIC) defeated Independence (6-7) for the first time in school history at home Thursday, 3-1. Set scores were 25-17, 25-18, 24-26 and 25-12.
“We passed the ball very well against Independence which allowed our setters to move the ball around. We had a lot of good things happen but still have some things to tighten up,” said Coach Gina Holthaus. “We are looking forward to traveling to Waverly on Tuesday.”
