Norton takes week three top prize

Phil Norton of Waukon pulled off the win in week three of the Pigskin Picks football contest after incorrectly guessing just one game.
With two games missed, Allen Goeke, also of Waukon, was just one point away in the first tie-breaker with 59 and claimed runner-up. Mabel-Canton had the most points scored by any one team at 60. Third place went to Waukon’s Paul Norton with two missed games. It took the second tie-breaker guess of 84, for Paul Norton to secure the third-place prize. The game between Rushford-Peterson and Winona Cotter tallied 78 points in the contest.
The two most missed games were Luther defeating Simpson and Waukon besting Dubuque Wahlert.
