Offensive slump hurts Trojans

By Becky Walz,

A night with just 32 points wasn’t enough for the Turkey Valley boys’ basketball team on the road as the Trojans (8-6, 6-5 UIC) fell to MFL MarMac (14-1, 10-0), 89-32.
Quick Bulldogs hands kept the Trojans from setting up their offense in the first quarter as MFL MarMac quickly pulled out to a 28-10 lead. TV was held to just two points in the second period and the Bulldogs carried a 56-12 advantage into the locker room. The Trojans put up more points in the second half but were never able to make a dent in the Bulldog lead.
