Tough week 7 in football contest

In a week where every entry thought Waukon would defeat Union, week seven was one of the hardest in the Pigskin Contest.
When the final entry was tallied, Waukon’s Paul Norton came out with the top prize, missing just two games. Phil Norton of Waukon missed three to take second. A trio of entries missed four games but it was Myron Hackman of Festina who took the third-place prize with the closest tie-breaker guess of 63. The most points scored in a game was Clarksville with 68.
Aside from Union stunning Waukon, commonly missed games included Waverly-Shell Rock defeating Marion, Minnesota edging Iowa, UNI over North Dakota, Chicago Bears besting the Las Vegas Raiders and the Denver Broncos over the Green Bay Packers.
