Trojan baseball falls to Kee in opener

By Becky Walz,

Facing Kee High (3-1, 2-0 UIC), the defending Class 1A runner-up from a year ago, the Turkey Valley (0-2, 0-2 UIC) suffered a pair of losses in the opener Tuesday night 6-0 and 7-3 in New Albin.
“We pitched fairly well and played good defense. Our offense will be there we just need more live at-bats. Kee is a very good baseball club that is deserving of their No. 1 ranking,” said Coach Dan Stepan.
