Trojan boys stopped by Kee

Looking to get back in the win column, the Turkey Valley boys’ basketball team (6-8, 4-7 UIC) came up short Friday night at home to Kee (8-7, 6-3 UIC), 71-56.
Turkey Valley had the lead early on 16-6 and held on to the advantage at halftime 33-28. The tides turned in the Hawks’ favor in the second half with Kee taking a 45-42 lead with eight minutes to play. Both squads picked up the pace in the fourth period, with Kee outscoring TV 26-13 for the win.

Monday, Jan. 24, the Trojans hosted Crestwood in a boys-only night. Tonight (Tuesday, Jan. 25), Turkey Valley is at Central Elkader and will conclude the week at West Central Friday, Jan. 28.
