Trojans tripped up at Dunkerton

The Turkey Valley volleyball team (7-12 1-0 UIC) were unable to record a win at the Dunkerton tournament Saturday facing Ankeny Christian (20-1), Waterloo Christian (10-11) and Aplington-Parkersburg (15-11).

   The Turkey Valley volleyball team (7-12 1-0 UIC) were unable to record a win at the Dunkerton tournament Saturday facing Ankeny Christian (20-1), Waterloo Christian (10-11) and Aplington-Parkersburg (15-11).
   The Trojans fell in the first match to Ankeny Christian by sets of 11-21 and 13-21 before facing Waterloo Christian where they lost 12-21 and 15-21. In their final match-up of the day, Aplington-Parkersburg took the win 21-9 and 21-13.
   No other information or stats were available at press time.
   Turkey Valley will host MFL MarMac Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m., then travel to Guttenberg to play Clayton Ridge Thursday, Sept. 29.
