Turkey Valley boys even at .500

The Turkey Valley boys’ basketball team (5-5, 4-4 UIC) remain at .500 after dropping Tuesday’s contest to MFL MarMac (10-2, 8-0 UIC) at home, 52-38.

The Turkey Valley boys’ basketball team (5-5, 4-4 UIC) remain at .500 after dropping Tuesday’s contest to MFL MarMac (10-2, 8-0 UIC) at home, 52-38.
It was slow going offensively to start the game as the Trojans trailed 13-10 after the first period. TV didn’t have much answer for the Bulldog offense as MFL MarMac led 30-21 at halftime. In the second half, the Bulldogs continued to pull away for the win.
Dylan Reicks had an active night with 12 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks. Three Trojans had five points apiece including Caleb Kurtenbach, Noah Hanson and Chase Hayek.
The Trojans have a busy week on tap as they travel to Tripoli tonight (Thursday, Jan. 13), then trek to Guttenberg to face Clayton Ridge Friday, Jan. 14.
