Turkey Valley Trojan Homecoming 2021

Turkey Valley Community School District will celebrate homecoming this week, culminating with the football game Friday, Oct. 1.
On Sunday, the district kicked off the week with inflatables, games, a FFA petting zoo, the Moo Mobile, concessions and a pep rally that included the introduction of the homecoming court.
Queen candidates for 2021 include Kourtney Schmidt, daughter of Aaron and Karla Schmidt; Kara Reicks, daughter of Kirk and Nicole Reicks; and Jalyssa Blazek, daughter of Don and Kim Blazek.
King candidates include Dylan Reicks, son of Merle and Sheila Reicks; Garrett Kurtenbach, son of Craig and Jennifer Kurtenbach; and Brady Barta, son of Greg and Rachel Barta.
Monday, the staff and 7th through 12th grade students dressed in class colors. Tuesday’s theme is “Tropical” and includes JJV, JV and varsity volleyball matches versus South Winn beginning at 5:30 p.m. The 2021 Homecoming King will be crowned between the junior varsity and varsity matches. Wednesday is “Workout Wednesday vs. Couch Potato” day and Thursday is “Better Together.”
“Spirit Day” is Friday with a pep rally taking place outside on the track at 2:30 p.m. The football game versus Clarksville will kick off at 7 p.m., and the 2021 Homecoming Queen will be crowned at halftime.
