Traveling to Waterloo Saturday, the Decorah swim and dive team finished sixth in the team standings at the 43rd annual Marcussen Invitate.
Decorah posted a team total of 199 points. Waukesha won the invite with 503 points.
Brinley Krivachek had the best finish overall on the day in the 1-meter diving event, finishing second with 467.60 points.
In the swimming events it was the 400 free relay with the best finish. Julia Alberts, Emily Voyna, Paige Werner and Katerina Kovarik earned fourth place in 3:54.98.
Voyna earned fifth in the 100-yard fly in 1:04.15. Taking seventh was the 200-medley relay. Combining for a time of 2:01.16 were Maeley Nefzger, Margaret Rhodes, Voyna and Werner. Rhodes also touched the wall seventh in the 200-yard IM in 2:22.79.
The next chance to catch the Vikings in the water is Thursday, Oct. 21, versus Algona in the Luther College pool at 5:30 p.m.
